Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in computational chemistry or a related field.
- Candidates nearing completion of their PhD may apply but must confirm the awarded PhD within 6 months of employment.
- A wide-ranging knowledge and experience in computational chemistry methods is required.
- Total postdoctoral experience (including previous employment) should not exceed 7 years as per ICR’s workforce agreement.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Collaborate with in-house experts in chemistry, biology, biological assays, structural chemistry, structural biology, DMPK, and bioinformatics.
- Participate in all stages of drug discovery from early target validation and chemical hit finding to lead optimisation and candidate selection.
- Work under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Scarpino within a dynamic and supportive research environment.
