Eligibility/Qualification

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Ph.D. degree at the time of appointment
  • Strong research achievements and publications in relevant fields.
  • High motivation toward hybrid electronics and electronic skin applications
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:
    • Semiconductors
    • Electronic Devices
    • Sensors
    • Systems Engineering
    • Machine Learning
    • System Circuits
    • Robotics
  • Interest in interdisciplinary research integrating multiple technologies

Job Description

Selected candidates will conduct advanced research in:

  • Flexible sensor technologies
  • Electronic skin systems
  • Machine learning applications
  • Intelligent system circuits
  • Robotics and hybrid electronics

The fellowship aims to promote interdisciplinary innovation in next-generation electronics and smart sensing technologies.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual salary: Approximately 3.6 – 6.0 million yen (as per university regulations)
  • Commuting allowance provided
  • Health and social insurance benefits included
  • Annual contract renewal based on performance
  • Possible extension until November 30, 2028

Employment Details

  • Desired Start Date: August 1, 2026 or as soon as possible (negotiable)
  • Initial Employment Period: Until March 31, 2027
  • Probation Period: One month
  • Working System: Discretionary labor system or fixed working hours system
