PhD Positions at Prof. Wang’s Lab: Prof. Wang’s Lab invites applications for two fully funded PhD positions through the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC). We are seeking individuals with a keen interest and experience in molecular biology, genome editing, and bioinformatics, particularly in the realm of plant sciences, focusing on genetics and breeding of tropical crops. The lab’s primary research areas include abiotic and biotic constraints relevant to enhancing plant resilience against climate change.

Job Description:
- Conduct research in molecular biology, genome editing, and bioinformatics related to plant sciences.
- Work on genetics and breeding of tropical crops, with a focus on abiotic and biotic constraints affecting plant resilience to climate change.
- Supervise undergraduate students in the lab (as determined based on lab needs and candidate strengths).
- Participate in both laboratory and field experiments.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to the overall goals of Prof. Wang’s Lab.
- Utilize basic molecular techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, transformation, and breeding of field crops.
