Eligibility/Qualification
- Applicants must be enrolled or admitted to a doctoral program for the 2024/2025 academic year at the time of application.
- Applicants must not have previously received predoctoral training funding through other grants within the framework of the 2021-2023 State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation.
- Applicants must not hold a doctoral degree from any Spanish or foreign university.
- Applicants must not have been previously hired under a predoctoral contract that, when added to the duration of the current contract, would exceed the maximum time legally allowed.
Description
The predoctoral training grants will finance the costs of hiring the predoctoral research staff, their research stays at R&D centers, and the tuition fees for doctoral studies. Additionally, a postdoctoral orientation period (POP) of up to 12 months will be funded once the doctoral degree is obtained, to facilitate further professional development and specialization.
