Predoctoral Researcher Position in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Biology and Leukemogenesis

Location: Institut d’Investigació Biomèdica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL), L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biotechnology, etc.)
  • Master’s degree in biological subjects
  • Proficiency in basic molecular techniques
  • Experience in pluripotent stem cell culture and CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Good command of the English language
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Job Description:
As a Predoctoral Researcher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Culturing pluripotent stem cells and 3D bone marrow organoids
  • Conducting CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing in pluripotent stem cells and hematopoietic stem cells
  • Performing OMICs analysis (RNA-seq and ATAC-seq analysis) and flow cytometry
  • Participating in group meetings, scientific discussions, and career development activities
  • Engaging in outreach and soft skill training
