Eligibility / Qualification
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chemistry, Biomedicine, Immunology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university
- Strong background in Chemistry (highly valued)
- Minimum one year of research experience in chemistry, chemical biology, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience in synthetic chemistry
- Experience in peptide or protein synthesis is preferred
- Proven experience with drug testing assays and enzymatic assays
- Experience in cell biology and cell culture techniques is desirable but not mandatory
- Scientific publications will be considered an asset
- Fluent English (C1 level or equivalent) is required
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct cutting-edge research at the interface of chemistry, chemical biology, and translational science
- Design and perform synthetic chemistry experiments relevant to drug discovery
- Develop and apply biochemical and enzymatic assays
- Contribute to interdisciplinary research projects within the National Plan framework
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and contribute to scientific publications
- Collaborate with researchers in a highly international and translational research environment
