- High proficiency in programming using R and/or Python
- Good command of English (spoken and written); Catalan is recommended
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and interest in biology and ecology
- Experience conducting biological experiments
- Participation in scientific publications (first-author publications valued)
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Description
The successful candidate will engage in a research project analyzing long-term datasets and conducting laboratory experiments in microcosms to evaluate the impact of environmental changes on ecosystem dynamics. The project is framed within the Severo Ochoa initiative “ECO-RESILIENCE 360º: Transformative Ecology to Manage the Future of Ecosystems and Human Wellbeing”. The researcher will also contribute to the production of scientific publications and participate in the research group’s objectives.
