Research Area

The focus of this position is to enhance crop traits through innovative research aimed at improving stress tolerance and optimizing plant architecture and yield. The candidate should have expertise in identifying key genes and regulatory networks to implement both classical and modern breeding strategies.

Job Description

  • Develop a research program focused on molecular crop improvement.
  • Secure third-party funding from various sources.
  • Conduct teaching in the bachelor’s and master’s programs in “Biosciences” and “Biotechnology.”
  • Carry out academic administrative tasks independently.
  • Lead an independent research group.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Must hold a University degree and a doctoral qualification.
  • Proven experience in university teaching.
  • Documented management competence in research leadership.
  • A visible publication record in relevant areas.
  • Experience in securing research funding from commercial and public sources.
