Combustion and ash chemistry with a focus on:

  • Wet chemical leaching
  • Small-scale fluidized and fixed-bed rigs
  • Ash element analysis and metal recovery
  • Advanced analytical techniques like XRD, SEM, ICP-OES/MS, AAS, and TGA

🎓 Eligibility / Qualification

Required:

  • Master’s degree (MSc) in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Inorganic/Physical Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Experience in experimental lab research, material characterization, fluidized-bed technology, or combustion.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and oral).

Preferred:

  • Coursework in combustion, thermodynamics, inorganic chemistry, or material science.
  • Practical lab or industry experience in chemical or combustion environments.

🧾 Job Description

  • Conduct independent lab-based research on combustion and ash chemistry.
  • Operate and maintain fluidized-bed rigs and associated equipment.
  • Perform wet chemistry experiments, including leaching and metal recovery.
  • Utilize techniques such as SEM, XRD, and TGA for material analysis.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to scientific reporting.

You’ll be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team that develops cost-effective materials for improving energy efficiency.
