IIT Guwahati, India invites applications for Project Scientist Post at IIT Guwahati from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited for a Hybrid interview for several posts at IIT Guwahati in the project “Design and Development of AI/ML Co-Processor and Post Quantum Cryptography Co-Processor.” The interview is scheduled for 18 August 2026 at the Research Building. Positions available include: Project Scientist (3 vacancies) with a salary of ₹68,450; requires a Ph.D. in VLSI/Microelectronics/CS or relevant experience.

Eligibility/Qualification–
(i) Ph. D in Engineering/Technology/Science or Master’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/IT/ Agriculture or equivalent; and
(ii) Three years’ Research and Development experience in Industrial and Academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services or
(iii) Bachelors in engineering or technology preferably in the area of Electronics/ Computer Science/ IT/ Agriculture with 10 years’ of relevant industrial experience

Applications are invited for an Offline interview for the following post in the project entitled, “Developing Cooperative Modelled Enterprises for Revolutionizing Commercial Ecosystem (COMERCE), driven by blockchain technology, to boost organic mushroom production by application of state of the art smart IoT/AI/ML Enabled Solar Powered Commercial Mushroom Production (ISCOMP) solutions for the upliftment of ST Community of Nagaland” at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, IIT Guwahati.
