IIT Guwahati, India invites applications for Project Scientist Post at IIT Guwahati from eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited for an Offline/Online interview for the following post in the project entitled, “Developing Cooperative Modelled Enterprises for Revolutionizing Commercial Ecosystem (COMERCE), driven by blockchain technology, to boost organic mushroom production by application of state of the art smart IoT/AI/ML Enabled Solar Powered Commercial Mushroom Production (ISCOMP) solutions for the upliftment of ST Community of Nagaland” at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, IIT Guwahati.

Research/Job Area- Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture, or equivalent

Location- IIT Guwahati

Eligibility/Qualification–

Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology/Science or Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture, or equivalent; and Minimum 3 years of Research & Development experience in industrial/academic institutions, Science & Technology organizations, or related scientific activities and services.

Desirable Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology, preferably in Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture, or equivalent, with 10 years of relevant industrial experience.

Time: 11.00 am          

Venue: Offline/Online Interview (E&ICT office, Technology Complex, IIT Guwahati)

Last date of Application: 14^th October, 2026 (Wednesday)

Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for an Offline/Online Interview scheduled for 16^th October 2026 (Friday) at 11:00 AM. The last date of Application: 14^th October, 2026 (Wednesday).

Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the Offline interview. Candidates will not be sent any call letter separately.
