Eligibility/Qualification–
1. Essential Qualifications:
Project Research Scientist-Il: A Postgraduate (Master’s) degree including an integrated Postgraduate degree, with three years of post-qualification experience or a Ph.D. degree is required. The candidate should hold this qualification in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology/Molecular and Human Genetics/Life Sciences/ Microbiology or in a relevant subject.
(ii) Project Technical Support-111: A three years Graduate degree with three years of experience or a Postgraduate degree is required. The candidates should hold this qualification in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology/Molecular and Human Genetics/Life Sciences/Microbiology or in a relevant subject.
- Age Limit:
(i) Project Research Scientist-Il (Non-Medical): The upper age limit is 40 years. (ii)Project Technical Support-111: The upper age limit is 35 years.
- Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
For PRS-II, candidate with experience in the relevant area, particularly in parasitic immunology will be preferred but not a pre-requisite for the post.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for one post (01) of Project Research Scientist-Il (PRS-II) (NonMedical) with fixed emoluments of Rs. 67,000/- per month plus 20% HRA; and three posts (03) of Project Technical Support-Ill with fixed emoluments of Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 20% HRA in an ICMR- sponsored CAR project (BHU code P-14/0832) entitled “Development of novel therapeutic formulations for imbroved lesion resolution and skin repigmentation in post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis” sanctioned for five years. The posts are temporary and co-terminus with the project.
