Eligibility/Qualification–

1. Eligibility: Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent disciplines.
   1. Desirable Qualifications:
      1. Strong academic and research background in Robotics, Control Systems, and Autonomous Navigation.
      1. Experience in control algorithm design (e.g., MPC, adaptive control, control barrier function-based controllers) and trajectory planning for aerial vehicles.
      1. Proficiency in ROS/ROS2, simulation environments (Gazebo, AirSim, MATLAB).
      1. Proven track record of publications in high-impact robotics journals or top peer-reviewed conferences.

Job/Position Description- 

Applications are invited from motivated individuals for the posts of Project Associate-I (03 positions) and Project Scientist-I (01 position) to work on UAV-related research in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), IISER Bhopal.

Project title: UAV – aerodynamics, control, perception and planning related research

1. Project Scientist-I (Robotics & Control)
   1. No. of Positions: 01
   1. Fellowship: As per ANRF Monthly Emoluments rules stated in ANRF/OM/N-01/2024.
2. Duration: The offer is for 12 months. If performance is good, the position can be extended.   
3. The selected candidates are expected to join by September 30,, 2026.
