Location: Mohali, Punjab
Eligibility/Qualification:
Essential Qualification: For Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): PhD in Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Biomedical Device/Nanotechnology/Nanoscience.
Or
M.Sc./MTech/MPharm with NET/GATE qualified.
Desirable Experience: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) ‘हेतु: Experience in developing skin patch device, or developing piezoelectric biomaterials or scaffold development using Electrospinning or electrochemical sensor device.
Age limit: Must not be over 35 years as on 25 May 2026, which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.

Highly motivated and bright candidates are invited for walk-in-Interview for engagement of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) और Project Technical Support-III’ in the research project funded by ‘ICMR.
Date of walk in interview: 16 September 2026
Reporting time and venue: 10:30 AM at INSTITUTE OF NANO SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY, Mohali (Hybrid Mode).
Title of the Research Project: Non-Invasive Epidermal skin-conformable Diagnostic Sweat-Sensing Patch for Affordable, and Continuous Monitoring in Septicemia: A paradigm shift from episodic blood testing

Name of the position available: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) और Project Technical Support-III’
Fellowship:
For Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): INR 56,000 + HRA (INR 5600) = INR 61,600 /month.
For Project Technical Support-III: INR 28,000 + HRA (INR 2800) = INR 30,800 /month.
Duration: Initially six months and may be extended based on performance of the candidate and Availability of funds.
