Eligibility/Qualification

  • Applicants must have completed (or will complete) all doctoral degree requirements between June 2024 and September 2026.

  • Current postdoctoral scholars at the University of Notre Dame are not eligible.

Description

The Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellowship program aims to nurture early-stage researchers committed to addressing critical engineering and applied sciences challenges. Fellows will receive individual mentoring, participate in the College of Engineering Postdoctoral Training program, and have the opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research. Each fellow will work under a primary research mentor and may select additional co-mentors from within the university.

Interested candidates should submit the following documents:

  1. Curriculum Vitae
  2. Research Statement: Detailing career goals, previous research accomplishments, teaching/mentoring experience, and proposed research during the fellowship. This statement must include identification of mentors and rationale for their selection (maximum 5 pages, excluding citations).
  3. Presentation: A 5-slide PDF presentation following the provided template.
  4. Letters of Recommendation: Arrange for three letters to be submitted via Interfolio by the deadline.
