Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or a relevant field.
- Strong experience in quantum computing and related algorithm and software development.
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, numerical optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with GPU code generation using JAX, BQSKit, numerical optimization.
- Programming skills in C/C++ (desired).
Job Description:
The Quantum Computing Postdoctoral Fellow will:
- Develop efficient algorithms for circuit synthesis and software tools for quantum computing.
- Implement open-source software tools with a focus on resource estimation and emulation for Fault Tolerant quantum computing.
- Contribute to simulations on physical hardware as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Generate and tune GPU code using JAX.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
