Research Assistant/Associate: The University of Cambridge is seeking a postdoctoral scientist to join Prof Christina Zielinski’s group to work in the field of human systems immunology. The candidate will investigate the rules that govern the body-wide compartmentalization of human T cell immunity, its function, and regulation at the single-cell level in health and disease with computational methods.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Postdoctoral scientist with experience in immunology and computational analysis, or a computational biologist/bioinformatician with an aptitude for immunology.
  • Experience with multi-modal single-cell data sets and high-dimensional flow cytometry is desirable.
  • The candidate must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Appointment at the Research Associate level is dependent on the award of a Ph.D. Those who have submitted but not yet received their Ph.D. will be appointed at the Research Assistant level

  • Investigate the spatio-temporal dynamic organization of human T cell immunity in tissues.
  • Develop and drive research objectives.
  • Write up work for presentation and publication.
