Eligibility/Qualification:
- For Research Assistant: Honors degree in a relevant subject or working towards/close to the submission of a PhD.
- For Research Associate: PhD in neuroscience or a relevant life sciences area.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Job Description:
- Fixed-term contract for 3 years.
- Salary:
- Research Assistant: £31,396 to £32,982 per annum.
- Research Associate: £33,966 to £44,263 per annum.
- Conducting cutting-edge laminar-neurophysiology, laminar-fMRI, and neuronal optogenetic studies.
- Training in state-of-the-art neurobiological technology.
- Analyzing and presenting research findings.
- Collaborating with a research team and contributing to grant applications.
- Conducting animal research adhering to ethical standards and Home Office regulations.
