Eligibility/Qualification
- Doctorate and above-average academic degree in biology, physics, (bio-) computer science, or related fields
- Research focus that complements the working group’s activities
- Excellent proficiency in mathematical modeling
- Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methods
- Very good command of written and spoken English

Job Description
- Support ongoing research projects by developing computer models and conducting computer-based analyses
- Assist in planning experiments and statistical analysis of data sets
- Engage in research within the field of theoretical ecology and evolution
- Utilize methods such as:
- Individual-based modeling
- Differential equations modeling
- Metabolic networks and interaction networks modeling
- Deep learning and artificial intelligence
- Acquire third-party funding
- Supervise scientific projects of undergraduate, Master’s, and doctoral students
- Plan and implement teaching courses in theoretical ecology and evolution
