Eligibility/Qualification

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant biological science.
  • Relevant laboratory and computational experience including:
  • Flow cytometry
  • Cell culture
  • Molecular sub-cloning
  • Analysis of next generation sequencing data
  • Experience in coding and using computational pipelines.
  • Specialist knowledge in T cell immunology, cancer immunology, and cancer immunotherapeutics.

Job Description

As part of the Vyas Laboratory, you will be involved in:

  • Discovering new peptide-HLA-II (pHLA-II) antigens and their cognate T cell receptors (TCRs).
  • Analyzing their function, molecular and biophysical characteristics.
  • Conducting proof of concept work to establish their utility as immunotherapeutics.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to dissect alloreactive immune responses.
  • Repurposing these immune responses to develop novel TCR T-cell therapies and soluble bispecific T cell engagers.

This position is suitable for candidates interested in pursuing a PhD or those looking to engage in long-term research opportunities in the Vyas Laboratory.
