Eligibility/Qualification

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in deep learning and/or experience with modalities such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision.
  • Proficiency in Deep Learning Frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Excellent English skills (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • High motivation and proactive behavior.

Job Description

  • Conduct research in the Observational AI Research Lab focusing on:
  • Combining and fusing different modalities.
  • Perception, reasoning, and knowledge integration.
  • Developing algorithms for modular AI systems that can adapt to various tasks and learn from minimal data.
  • Engage in discussions to identify supervising professors during the first year, with specific dissertation topics determined by the second year.
  • Collaborate across various research labs within the Cluster of Excellence.
