Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed University Science Degree (e.g., MEng, MSc, Diplom) in a program related to human-machine interaction
- Research experience (e.g., UG/MSc project, research internship or other)
- Good communication skills in English (both oral and written)
- Basic knowledge of data collection/processing
- Ability to work in teams, analytical way of thinking, being creative, curious, and open to working across subject areas
Job Description:
- Conduct research on human interaction with swarms of robots
- Study and investigate methods for robot swarms to build models of themselves or other actors and learn to use these models
- Contribute to building up a research infrastructure for innovative experiments, supporting a variety of user groups
- Validate approaches in simulated and real-world user studies
- Analyze findings and publish/present them at leading international conferences
- Contribute to a creative and inclusive working environment
- Participate in teaching activities and supervise BSc/MSc projects related to the topic
