Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 1 year full-time experience at a university or research institute
- Strong commitment to research excellence and mentoring/teaching
- Outstanding accomplishments and research potential in related areas
- Relevant postdoctoral research experience will be prioritized
- Experience and publication records in at least two of the following areas:
- Multiple scattering of waves
- Acoustic or optical force
Job Description:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the ongoing development of research in the Department of Physics.
- Conducting high-quality research in the designated fields.
- Engaging in mentoring and teaching within the department.
- Contributing towards the academic community and institutional services.
The initial appointment will be for a fixed-term contract of up to two years, commencing May 2026, with the possibility of reappointment based on mutual agreement and funding availability. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
