Research Area
The Mukherjee Lab is focused on identifying metabolic vulnerabilities in cancer through:
- Mass spectrometry-based metabolomics
- Proteomic approaches
- 3D co-culture systems
- Mouse models mapping cancer-stromal cell interactions in the tumor microenvironment.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s Degree in a basic science or clinical research area relevant to research activities with at least one year of experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in a basic science with at least three years of experience in a biomedical research environment.
- PhD Students are welcome to apply.
- Advanced degrees in applied sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or biology with prior experience are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage and train research personnel are required.
Description
As a Research Associate in the Mukherjee Lab, you will:
- Develop research projects including protocol design and data management.
- Plan and implement training programs for research assistants.
- Assist in grant application preparation and budget management.
- Supervise research assistants and ensure proper record keeping and inventory management.
