Research Area:
The research will involve pioneering work in integrating strategic forms of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), conducting thorough environmental risk assessments, and developing comprehensive circularity assessments to set new standards for safety and sustainability in the industry.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in sustainability, environmental engineering, circular economy, mechanical engineering, environmental economics, industrial engineering, environmental science, or related field
- Experience working with large project consortia to deliver high-quality results
- Practical experience in a broad range of assessments including LCA, carbon footprint analysis, and circularity analysis
- Knowledge of sustainability and circularity assessment standardisation documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of people
Job Description:
The successful candidates will work across two UKRI funded projects, R3volution and CSSBoost, undertaking project management and supervision of multi-disciplinary teams. They will also be responsible for submitting publications to refereed journals, presenting at international conferences, and attracting external research funding.
