Research Associate – Computational Biologist: The Patil lab at the MRC Toxicology Unit, University of Cambridge, seeks a postdoctoral researcher to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves computational biology and bioinformatics work focusing on metabolism-centered modeling of microbial evolution and interactions. The successful candidate will contribute to developing new tools for model-guided yeast engineering, benefiting from excellent research infrastructure and support for personal development provided by the MRC Toxicology Unit.

Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline such as bioinformatics or metabolic engineering and possess a strong research background in microbiome or metabolic modeling. A track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals is required.
