Research Associate/Fellow in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology

Eligibility/Qualifications:

  • PhD in Cell/Developmental Biology or related biological science field
  • Strong background in developmental/stem cell biology, organ culture, and gene editing/manipulation
  • Experience in bioinformatics and cellular differentiation
  • Track record of research publication

Job Description:

  • Join an exciting research program (iBreed) to develop a novel in vitro gametogenesis platform
  • Collaborate with research teams led by Prof. Ramiro Alberio at University of Nottingham and Prof. Bruce Whitelaw at University of Edinburgh
  • Apply expertise in genetic engineering, stem cell biology, and developmental biology to characterize bovine gametogenesis and direct differentiation in vitro
  • Utilize genomic and epigenetic tools, gene editing, and stem cell technologies to generate bovine gametes in vitro
