Eligibility/Qualifications:
- PhD in Cell/Developmental Biology or related biological science field
- Strong background in developmental/stem cell biology, organ culture, and gene editing/manipulation
- Experience in bioinformatics and cellular differentiation
- Track record of research publication
Job Description:
- Join an exciting research program (iBreed) to develop a novel in vitro gametogenesis platform
- Collaborate with research teams led by Prof. Ramiro Alberio at University of Nottingham and Prof. Bruce Whitelaw at University of Edinburgh
- Apply expertise in genetic engineering, stem cell biology, and developmental biology to characterize bovine gametogenesis and direct differentiation in vitro
- Utilize genomic and epigenetic tools, gene editing, and stem cell technologies to generate bovine gametes in vitro
