Study Area: The position is in Translational Medical Sciences, focusing on Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). The research involves a multidisciplinary approach, integrating analyses at the transcriptional through to the multicellular level, with a specific emphasis on 3D cell culture models, biochemical analysis, imaging, and image analysis.

Scholarship Description: Join the GlycoWeb project, a BBSRC strategic Longer and Larger initiative. Work collaboratively with leading institutions globally and contribute to cutting-edge research on Glycosaminoglycans. The role involves applying diverse approaches to address knowledge gaps, utilizing advanced techniques in biochemistry, cell biology, glycobiology, and matrix biology.

Eligibility: Candidates must have a PhD (or be near completion) in biochemistry, cell biology, glycobiology, matrix biology, or a related area. Experience in 3D cell culture models, biochemical analysis, imaging, and image analysis is required. Knowledge of stem cell biology, ToF-SIMS, glycosaminoglycan analysis, and related areas is advantageous.
