Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Hold (or near to completion) a PhD, EngD (or equivalent) in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Strong research communication and teamwork skills.

Job Description:
You will play a key role in:

  • Demonstrating and optimizing a novel microwave catalytic reactor to upgrade plastics pyrolysis oils.
  • Conducting advanced materials characterization techniques, including dielectric measurements.
  • Developing novel sustainable catalysts.
  • Supporting reaction modeling to benchmark microwave processes against alternative technologies.
  • Communicating research findings through publications, reports, and at conferences.
  • Assisting undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contributing to laboratory safety management.
