This role is funded by Dr. Ben Pilgrim’s Royal Society University Research Fellowship and offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative research in metal-organic cages.

Research Area:
The research will focus on metal-organic cages, including structural discoveries and functional applications at the interface with biology and medicine.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in a relevant field of chemistry or submitted thesis prior to starting.
- Required: Expertise in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic molecules.
- Desirable: Experience with metal complexes, single crystal X-ray diffraction, and computational techniques.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Bring established projects to publication-ready stage.
- Contribute original ideas to new research directions.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and students (currently 6 PhD students, 3 MRes).
- Assist in publication and grant writing activities.
- Develop personal research ideas in a supportive environment.
