Job Description:
The successful candidate will investigate how MCBAs interact with human cells, focusing on cellular receptors influencing epithelial barrier integrity and inflammatory signaling. Key responsibilities include:
- Culturing bacteria anaerobically to study bile acid transformations.
- Performing multi-omics analysis of microbial consortia, including mass spectrometry and microbiome sequencing.
- Utilizing mouse models and analyzing data from cell culture experiments conducted in collaboration with other labs.
This position is initially one year with a potential renewal based on project progress and funding availability.
