The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing research on the dynamic regulation of secreted proteins that induce embryonic mesendoderm patterning. The position offers a fully funded multi-year opportunity with a flexible start date within the next 6-12 months. The Research Associate will have access to state-of-the-art research facilities and will work closely with Dr. Dave Dingal.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Minimum Education and Experience: Ph.D. in a related field.
- Preferred Education and Experience:
- Strong backgrounds in biochemistry and genetics.
- Knowledge and experience in protein expression and characterization, animal models (a plus).
- Clear, concise, and simple science communication skills.
- Ability to develop and test methods and interpret results independently.
- Successful record of authorship on peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
Job Description:
- Plan and execute experiments according to approved research protocols.
- Establish and optimize new protocols for protein expression and characterization.
- Train and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.
- Document experiments, manuscripts, conference abstracts, and grant writing.
- Collaborate with colleagues on scientific papers and grant proposals.
- Participate in lab meetings and journal clubs.
- Maintain high standards in conducting research.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external collaborators.
