Postdoctoral Research Associate in Boron Chemistry: Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) in Boron Chemistry / Organic Materials. The position is based in the School of Chemistry at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. The PDRA will work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team on the EPSRC Programme Grant “Boron: Beyond the Reagent,” focusing on the Functional Organic Materials Work Package of the Organoboron Programme Grant.

Eligibility/Qualification: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry related to the themes described above or be close to completion at the time of application
- Expertise in organoboron chemistry
- Experience in air-sensitive chemistry
- Deep knowledge of organic materials
Job Description: The PDRA position is available for up to 30 months, starting from approximately November 1, 2023. Prof. Michael Ingleson will supervise the PDRA as part of a collaborative grant between the University of Edinburgh, the University of St Andrews, and the University of Manchester.The primary focus of the position is to contribute to the research on borylated compounds, their applications, and their potential in synthetic chemistry, imaging agents, and functional materials. The PDRA will do academic research and administrative work, coordinate tasks and help the Programme Grant team.
