Eligibility/Qualification

  • Hold or near completion of a PhD in Chemical Biology, Medicinal Chemistry, or a closely related field, or possess equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Proven experience in the design and optimization of small molecule ligands.
  • Strong research track record relative to experience in academia and/or industry.
  • Independent capability and creativity in idea generation and experimental design.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor junior researchers and engage in multidisciplinary team settings.

Job Description

As a Research Associate, you will lead the discovery and medicinal chemistry optimization of novel molecular glues identified through various biochemical, computational, structural, and cellular screening technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with a dynamic team to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of these glues.
  • Innovating new modes of molecular glue degrader activity targeting proteins through the ubiquitin-proteasome system or autophagy.
  • Driving independent research projects and co-leading collaborative teams.
  • Mentoring Master and PhD students within the partnership.
