Research Associate in Developmental Genomics: The University of Manchester is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Research Associate to join Dr. Williams’ research group focused on cell fate choices from the multipotent neural plate border during early embryo development. The successful candidate will work on a Medical Research Council funded project to conduct single-cell multiomics profiling of distinct populations of neural plate border cells isolated from developing chicken embryos.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Candidates must have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in a relevant biological discipline, including Developmental Biology, Genomics, or Stem Cell Biology.

Job Description:

  • Work on a Medical Research Council funded project to conduct single-cell multiomics profiling of distinct populations of neural plate border cells isolated from developing chicken embryos.
  • Collaborate with the research group to study cell fate choices from the multipotent neural plate border during early embryo development.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
