Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct laboratory and field studies to analyze the electrochemical and corrosion behavior of additively manufactured alloys.
- Collaborate with industry and government sponsors.
- Assess models for determining the extent of localized corrosion.
- Manage laboratory facilities, update equipment, develop operation procedures, and ensure safety.
- Support undergraduate and graduate research, and assist in guiding students.
- Contribute to drafting proposals, reports, and research papers.
Preferred Experience:
- Operating electrochemical instrumentation with DC and AC techniques.
- Image analysis of optical and scanning electron micrographs.
- FEM modeling.
- Effective interaction with undergraduate and graduate students.
