Eligibility/Qualification
- Essential Criteria:
- PhD in computational molecular science or a related field
- Experience in setting up and running molecular simulations
- Proven track record in disseminating research outputs (publications, presentations, software contributions)
- Advanced skills in data analysis for molecular simulations
- Method development experience for molecular simulations
- Teamwork experience
- Experience with high-performance computing
- Desirable Criteria:
- Experience developing AI methods for molecular simulations
- Collaborative experience with wet lab researchers
- Knowledge of enhanced sampling methods
- Experience in RNA modelling
Job Description
This role supports a BBSRC-funded project aimed at investigating RNA structural ensembles in silico. The Research Associate will:
- Study RNA structural ensembles and develop tools for efficient sampling.
- Collaborate with experimental labs and external partners for cross-organizational research.
- Engage in scientific programming and integrative modelling, focusing on ligand discovery.
- Present findings at international conferences and actively document software developed.
