Eligibility/Qualification

Essential Requirements:

  • PhD in immunology or an equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Competent in general lab techniques including cell culture, qPCR, ELISA, WB, bioinformatics, and data analysis.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in epithelial cell culture including air-liquid interface and/or pulmonary organoid models.
  • Competence in analyzing large sequencing datasets (bulk RNA-seq) with proficiency in R or similar analysis packages.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Planning and directing research initiatives.
  2. Conducting data analysis and writing reports for research sponsors.
  3. Presenting findings at conferences and submitting publications to refereed journals.
  4. Providing guidance to PhD students.
  5. Participating actively in group research meetings and internal seminars.
  6. Assisting in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of experimental work and contributing to the smooth running of the laboratory.
