Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD (or equivalent) in structural biology, preferably with experience in cryo-electron microscopy.
  • Strong research track record demonstrated by publications in international journals.
  • Experience in structure determination workflows from sample preparation to data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in teams.

Job Description:

  • Manage and run the project, taking initiative in planning and executing research.
  • Design and perform experiments leveraging cryo-electron microscopy.
  • Process and analyze cryo-EM data.
  • Collaborate with lab members to design mutant bacterial strains for hypothesis testing.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and support their learning.
  • Proficiently integrate new approaches and techniques into research projects.
