Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Successful master’s or diploma degree in psychology, neuroscience, biology, biomedicine, physics, computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Aiming for a doctorate in natural sciences.
  • Sound knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., ANCOVA, GLM, LME) required.
  • Previous research experience with peer-reviewed publications is advantageous.
  • Interest in neuroscience and experience with neural imaging data analysis is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Fluent in English; basic knowledge of German preferred.
  • Strong personal commitment to a scientific career.

Description:
The successful candidate will engage in research focusing on the development and maintenance of eating and weight disorders, utilizing MRI and other neuroimaging methods alongside machine learning techniques for data analysis. Participation in international collaborations and opportunities for short-term research stays abroad are also integral to this position. The role includes presenting findings at conferences, publishing in scientific journals, and supervising interns and medical students.
