Eligibility/Qualification

- Experience in mathematical modeling, statistical physics, nonlinear dynamics, and stochastic processes
- Advanced programming skills, ideally with computer algebra software
- Excellent command of English
- High self-motivation and solution-driven work attitude
- Experience in (co-) supervising research and collaborative efforts is an advantage
Job Description
The postdoc will:
- Conduct mathematical, theoretical, and applied research on collective dynamical phenomena in complex systems.
- Focus on strongly externally driven systems.
- Develop a computational toolbox to predict distributed responses and tipping points in dynamical systems using advanced numerical techniques and computer algebra.
- Assist the Chair in supporting grant proposals and executing collaborative research initiatives.
