Eligibility/Qualification:
- University science degree in the life sciences (M.Sc. or equivalent) with excellent grades
- Experience and interest in experimental techniques related to mammalian cell culture and fluorescence microscopy
- Previous experience with microfluidic systems, image processing, computational modeling, or working with tumor spheroids would be an advantage
- Computer skills for data analysis, familiarity with software tools such as MATLAB, ImageJ, or similar
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Very good knowledge of English is required
Job Description:
As a Research Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating and modifying vascular microfluidic chips for on-chip tumor vascularization studies
- Conducting perfusion experiments and investigating the dynamic interactions between tumor cells and engineered blood vessels
- Participating in high-resolution real-time imaging, quantitative analysis of vascular networks, and modeling of the tumor microenvironment
- Collaborating, contributing to scientific publications, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, and participating in teaching activities
