Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in a relevant field
- BSc in Biological Sciences
- Experience in molecular biology techniques such as cloning, RNAseq, transfection, and cellular work
- Strong experience with animal rodent models, including colony management, genotyping, tissue dissections, and neurobehavioral analyses
Job Description:
The successful candidate will perform murine studies, including maintenance of transgenic lines, behavioral and physiological studies, surgical manipulations for intracranial viral delivery, preparation of single-cell cDNA libraries, sequencing, and data analysis. Additionally, the role entails supervising undergraduate and graduate students. This fixed-term position offers a salary range of £42,099 – £46,732 per annum till January 31, 2026.
