Eligibility/Qualification:
- First degree in a relevant area of specialism and a PhD (or near completion) in a related research field or equivalent qualifications
- Background in DNA replication and/or DNA damage and/or genome stability fields
- Experience in biochemistry and cell biology, fluency in relevant models, techniques, or methods, and the ability to contribute to the development of new ones
- High-level analytical capability
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Ability to assess resource requirements and use resources effectively
- Understanding of and ability to contribute to broader management/administration processes
- Contribution to planning and organizing research programs and specific projects
Job Description: As a Research Fellow, your responsibilities include:
- Developing research objectives and proposals for individual or collaborative research, with mentorship as needed
- Contributing to the preparation of research funding bids
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting research data
- Applying knowledge to advance intellectual understanding
- Disseminating research findings through publications, research seminars, etc.
- Providing guidance to PhD students and supervising research-related work
- Contributing to the development of new models, techniques, and methods
- Undertaking management and administration related to research activities
