Eligibility/Qualification

  • Required Qualifications:
  • PhD degree in analytical chemistry, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, or related fields.
  • LC-MS skills, knowledge, and experience with small or large molecules.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with a collaborative mentality.
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in metabolite identification and pharmacokinetics.
  • Experience with high-resolution mass spectrometry.
  • Familiarity with mass spectrometry imaging using MALDI.

Job Description

In this position, candidates will engage in various tasks, including:

  • Development and validation of LC-MS bioanalytical methods for clinical studies, especially focusing on phase 1 single-dose studies.
  • Identification of metabolites using LC-MS/MS in biological matrices.
  • Mass spectrometry imaging of small molecules from tissue samples.
  • Conducting quantitative LC-MS analysis of preclinical sample compounds.
  • Performing lead optimization and in vitro preclinical studies along with clinical pharmacokinetic analysis.
  • Collaborating with animal teams for in vivo animal PK study sample analysis.
  • Conducting targeted and untargeted metabolomics studies.
  • Independently preparing study reports.
