Research Fellow at University of Sussex: The Sussex Drug Discovery Centre (SDDC) is seeking a skilled scientist to join their team for a one-year fixed-term contract. Eligibility/Qualification: Applicants must hold a PhD in a biological or physical science and possess expertise in molecular biology, structure-based drug design, biophysics, and macromolecular crystallography.
Job Description: The Research Fellow will work within a multidisciplinary team at the SDDC, focusing on high-throughput X-ray crystallography, fragment-based screening, and structure-based drug design in the field of oncology. Responsibilities include crystallisation, structure determination, and biophysical analysis of protein-ligand complexes as part of a collaborative project funded by Omaze-Blood Cancer UK.
