Research Fellow at University of Warwick: The University of Warwick’s Department of Computer Science wants a skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow. The job is full-time for 12 months and starts on October 1, 2023, on a fixed-term contract.C funded project in partnership with the University of Sheffield. The project combines deep learning and Unity-based VR to visualize and annotate 3D time series of biological cells from microscope images.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- At least a 2.1 Honours degree and a Ph.D. (or equivalent experience/qualification) in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
- Strong background in one or more of the following: machine learning, computer vision, virtual reality
- Excellent knowledge of deep learning-based methods and graph neural networks
- Familiarity with 3D DCNNs and image analysis
- Ability to collaborate with biologists and understand experimental data
- Experience in user interface design and producing animated movies is desirable
