Job Description:
The successful candidate will engage in the development of novel “toy models” of ice formation, utilizing state-of-the-art molecular dynamics simulations while validating findings against experimental and field data. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting extensive molecular simulations of ice nucleation at complex surfaces.
- Collaborating with theoretical and experimental teams at Warwick and Leeds.
- Implementing developed models into the Met Office Unified Model to enhance ice formation representation in clouds.
- Contributing to interdisciplinary research bridging molecular physics and climate science.
