Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in environment, physics, chemistry, or related fields
- Knowledge of programming, modeling, or statistical analysis would be an asset
- Previous experience in chemical risk assessment
- Proficiency in Python and R programming
- Experience in simulation/modeling and data processing
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Job Description:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Participating in the SICHEM project, collaborating with the IT department to integrate the TREXMO tool into the SICHEM platform
- Identifying sources of exposure data and opportunities for model evolution, and adapting TREXMO algorithms as necessary
- Analyzing tools for calculating mixtures of chemical substances and ensuring compatibility with SICHEM/TREXMO
- Leading a project to aggregate models of exposure to chemical pollutants, contributing to the development of a strategy for aggregating existing models, and analyzing and interpreting the results obtained
- Contributing expertise to ongoing work and teaching on exposure modeling within the designated area
