Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD (or close to completion) in high-speed aerodynamics or significant industrial experience in the relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in leading research with a track record of publications in high-quality journals.
- Hands-on experience in experimental aerodynamics and compressible-flow rig design.
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, Matlab, C, C++, FORTRAN, or LabVIEW.
- Excellent project management, communication, and collaborative skills.
Description
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and deliver experimental research within the new high-speed propulsion test facility.
- Design, execute, and analyze complex aerodynamic experiments.
- Contribute to project management and industry-facing deliverables.
- Publish high-quality research outputs and support MSc/PhD supervision and funding proposals.
- Collaborate with academic colleagues, industrial partners, and students to drive innovation in high-speed propulsion technologies.
