Research Fellow in Signal Processing: The Institute for Communication Systems (ICS) is seeking a full-time Research Fellow to work on wireless localization in 6G networks with intelligent surfaces. The successful candidate should have expertise in wireless communications and specialization in wireless localization techniques. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in wireless communications or signal processing
  • Strong research experience in wireless communications
  • Specialization in wireless localization techniques
  • Knowledge of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (preferred)
  • Track record of publications in high-impact factor international journals
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated

Job Description: The selected Research Fellow will:

  • Conduct research on wireless localization in 6G networks with intelligent surfaces
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to specify localization bounds for 6G
  • Design efficient localization algorithms for the investigated systems
  • Engage with other researchers and contribute to a strong research team
  • Benefit from the support of academic staff working on the program
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in wireless communication technologies
  • Publish research findings in high-impact factor international journals
